Hey guys, i own a lisence for Vbulletin, and have it installed on 1 of my sites.

I recently used to same lisense on another site, and my old site still has vbulliten...

is this allowed and how will vbulliten ever find out?

Well - if its only installed on one site, just not the site you registered it with, then just let them know your using it on another domain.

If its on more then one domain, its pirating. Dont do it.

that's definitely not allowed - it's one license per domain.

how will they ever find out? e.g. everytime you log into your control panel, it 'ping's their server... i strongly suggest you uninstall one copy...

Have you ever read their TOS or FAQ before ordering ? Even if you don't report you will emailed from their support team to delete the installtion. vBulletin has callbacks which reports your current installtion and its domain.

Links you will have to check:

Its right time you remove the installtion of the domain which you have not got the license for and be SAFE :)

Downloads are license specific so you should NEVER use the same download for all installs. You need to log into each account and download each license specific version and install it on the domain you have linked the license to.

I believe your allowed another instance of vBulletin installed for testing purposes if it's in a Password Protected directory.
