    Yup, and two of the big vBulletin forums are the fastest growing forums on the net (according to big boards) so that's quite an accomplish for vBulletin.

    its hard to believe that vb has more installation then phpbb. Probably phpbb users don't register their sites at VB.

    I think I just love VB but I hate the way it costs me. Its like 30$ every year. Plus the initial 160$.
    Then i cant install mods unless I know the programming well.
    Once I install mods, there is a new release.... and the whole thing gets to zero.

    THough PHPBB and IPB has same issues but at least they are cheaper/free.
    I would really like to have something like wordpress which is the best software to update.

    No doubt VB rules but if we consider cost and usage and maintainence plus productivity I can think of nothing but PHPBB3
