    I have a vbulletin forum.

Is there any way to read PM's of members...

some members use forums for sending spam PMs to other members.

    how to prevent this?

Last time I checked I seen 2 hacks at vb.org that allowed admin to read member pm's.

    You should try www.vbulletin.org

However, reading the PMs of members might breach you current privacy policy, so the plugin that I was looking at creates a forced privacy policy saying that PMs may be read.

I would leave it to users forwarding the posts to you. That way you aint invading privacy!

Ironically, we just had a discussion on my board about the pm reader hack.
I still say it's a good hack to have for the admins.. It's not like we have time to read everyones pm or really care to. I've had it installed on my forum for 9 months or so and have used it 2 times..
They info can be seen with mysql access anyways,, it's just making it easier..
