    Hello,

I used a developer to transfer my forum to another hosting company which he did, he has uploaded the Vbulletin software but unfortunately he could not upload the SQL database files with all my members and their posts because the file was to large so he broke the files down and uploaded that way. When he kept uploading the SQL files my members and post/threads only half the members and post/threads could be retrieved so we agreed to leave like that with half the content/members missing.

Now, every time a member makes a new thread, other threads from previous members appear on the page, threads made back in June, July, so on from last year.

Please can someone explain why, do i make sense?

It appears that your database is not in a consistent state.
You cannot use your database when it is half-uploaded.
The only solution is to upload the full database. If you
have the full backup, you can use the script www.ozerov.de/bigdump.php
to upload any big size database without problem.
