vBulletin cannot ban user !!!

    Guys help.Some dude registered and started spamming.I tried to ban him but after i click to ban him it says-user has been banned.... l 2 seconds later-no new banned users and the guy is not banned.Why the hell this happenes ????And this is only for this one
