vBulletin Built In Search Engine Friendly URL's

    do you think "Basic Friendly URLs" is worth it ?? or even "Advanced Friendly URLs" ?? i mean they add keywords after a question mark is it even worth the effort

    "Search Engine Friendly URLs" implies that a search engine is too stupid to know what the topic is about without the "special" URL. In that regard, no... I don't personally think they are worth it (see... none here). Google is pretty smart about understanding the context of the page it's spidering... it doesn't need help by changing the URL.

    I agreed. all this SEO with mod rewrite thing is a bunch of crap you get backlinks and done.

    ive just reverted back to normal urls lets hope search engines dont create issues after upgrades due to template change and stuff

    You can check forum in my Sign, with "Basic Friendly URLs", I am placed better than the forums with vBseo. Havn't checked "Advanced Friendly URLs" yet!
