    Shawn, as you know, I'm very critical of vB 4, however, how are the server loads looking?

    For some odd reason, the vB4 sites are slightly slower and vB 3.x, it's noticeable to me.

    i think shawn is hosting the images on another server basically static file so load will decrease

    Feedback: Guess your new setup is okay for young eyes, I guess us older folk are just going to have to use a magnifying glass to read the #@%$#@ words now.

    Bugs: Tried to view my Started Threads and it is not showing any of them for the last YEAR!

    I do hope you can get DP back up and running correctly soon.

    There's grey blank area to the left of the forum. It's taking up unnecessary space. Can you remove this?

    In order to get the forum back online quickly the reindexing of all the posts is being done while the forum is open. With such a huge number of posts it sure is taking a while. From what I can see its got as far as 2006 so it could be another day before it finishes.

    Actually, the images are served from the same server (same IP address)... it's not a web server load issue.

    The primary reason is there are new features I want to develop and I didn't want to waste the time developing it for vB3 now and then again vB4 later. Moving to vB4 sooner means I can develop stuff for vB4 now, and not have to redevelop it later.

    i liked the old design more i think... it was easier to view / more readable. :S this one could be great too. but it needs some more design fixes... when you view a post it's ok... but i don't like the menu at the top and the forums listings... :S just my opinion. ;)
