The license comes with UNLIMITED official support from vBulletin, and it is a lifetime license (never pay again for vB4 upgrades!). You are also entitled to download previous versions (eg. vB3). It costs $285 from vBulletin but i'll offer mine for $200 (or very near offer). This isn't just the forum license, it is the CMS license. To confirm, the successful buyer will receive the following: 1 x vBulletin 4 Publishing Suite License But why am I selling? I initially bought the license to use in accordance with an online project of mine, due to recent circumstances however, i no longer have time to persue the project. I also need the money for Christmas. Feel free to ask any questions, i hope i haven't left anything out
LOL! $5? I have purchased a few vb 4 PS already. I still need one but $195 is too high. The most I can offer you is $130
$195 is too high?? So i'm offering the CMS at the same price as the regular forum license and that's too high? The thing is, vBulletin isn't like a car. A pre-owned license is EXACTLY the same as a new license, there are no advantages or disadvantages to buying a pre-owned license what so ever, and as such there is no need for any devaluation. It's only due to forum owners that are desperate to sell their license quick that in turn ruin the pricing for everyone else. Infact, i've just thought of 90 little green advantages ($) that you'll gain by buying my pre-owned license, in comparison to buying a new license. Thanks for your concern however, and best of luck
You are right, a license is not like a car, a car you can customize and sell it at whatever price you feel like, a license is just a license, its price can only drop. Stop giving false information, there clearly are disadvantages in buying a pre-owned license. The biggest one being that you cannot transfer the pre-owned license, in other words, you are stuck with that license. Make sure you let any potential buyers know that considering you are selling it at such a high price.
I was referring to devaluation, you clearly took my metaphor too seriously. Go on then, name some more. You are misinformed. It can still be transferred once more if the potential buyer later wishes to sell. Selling a vBulletin Publishing Suite license for the price of a vBulletin Forum license is a high price??? It might be for you, but in the general outlook of things it isn't. It's a fuckin steal. Next time get your facts right. I don't appreciate someone trying to ruin my sales thread when i am relying on the money to buy Christmas presents for family. If you don't like my price then that's your own problem, get out the thread and leave it be.
Incorrect. That thread is old - numerous (related and non-related) policy updates have been put into effect since. In fact, that statement no longer even appears in the license agreement anymore. Shows how up to date you are on vBulletin policie and vBulletin as a company -- you probably think the old team are still running it huh? LMAO. Anyway: It can then be transferred once more, a year (minimum) after the first transfer. TO FURTHER CONFIRM MY POINT (and discredit Xtrigit): a) The official vBulletin support team, whom I opened a support ticket opened with them to explain to me the license transfer process and facts in plain english before i offered my license for sale, told me this ("this" being the fact that a license can be transferred a second time) b) As well as the numerous similar/related threads on the official vBulletin and vBulletin.org forums. Just because you disagree with my pricing (weather justified or not), doesn't give you the right to try and spoil my sales thread. Again, get your facts right before you try to ruin my children's Christmas'. Go fuck yourself.
Hi I really need a forum license only. Is it possible to deactive the cms and blog part, so I only have the forum showing? If you can assure me that it's possible, I like to buy your license at $185. Thanks
Hi Misel, I can assure you that what you want to do is possible (i even deactivated the blog part myself). It's a simple matter of clicking a 'deactivate' button in the admin section, and that's it. No code edits. Since you don't want the CMS part, i'll be fair and offer the license to you for $175 instead of $185 (Offer valid for misel ONLY). PM me if you're still interested Thanks.
