Hi guys, I need a function coded in PHP that will automatically log a user into a specific Vbulletin 3.8.X forum. The vbulletin forum is usually in a sub-directory on the same domain e.g. somesite.com/forums/. The somesite.com has it's own login logic (it could be wordpress, Joomla whatever). I want to be able to call the above desired vbulletin login function straight after the user on the somesite.com has logged in. The input parameters to the function should be the vbulletin user id or the vbulletin username. General logic flow of how this function needs to be used. 1.) User logs into somesite.com (could be running anything from wordpress to joomla to custom code) 2.) somesite.com login function will then call at it's end your function passing in the vbulletin user_id or username they want logged in. 3.) End result user is logged into somesite.com and vbulletin in one swift go. I don't want to use any of the overly complex plugins and such that exist. Why would you need the forum board address ? The function needs to be a generic one so that I can use it with any forum in any location. It's fine to just use a variable which I can set as the forum board absolute path. I'm PM'ing you now with more questions...

tradedemon, in order to do the function, I need a platform to test it right ? Thats why I require the forum board address. For further use, you can use any address you want.
I see that's a fair point however I'm looking for someone who already has a VB instance setup in their dev environment. Can't grant access to a production site.
