    Hello,

I heard in another thread that "vbseo adds lots of load to a server". Does Vbseo has performance problems? What is your experience?

I read in vbseo.com forum's there was a guy with high traffic wanted to convert his site into vbseo type urls. After all his queries he felt satisfied and he bought vbseo and his cpu usage increased from 3.0+ to 50+ that was a huge performance issue, and hence he completely disabled it.
You can read this in pre-sales forum.

it does take up a bit of resources but as you said need to plan for future for when your forum gets bigger but do you realise that your income will go up aswell and you will be able to afford a better box by then.

I have seen very large forums running with vbseo with lno issues atall.

Its all about keeping your settings optimised.

I was running a forum with 200+ people online at any given time and it was running on a box with 3200 barton with 2.5gb ram and it used to make crackling sounds when online presence used to exceed 400 and in my opinion even if you were not using vbseo a forum that big will make this box shake at peak times.

go for vbseo its the best investment you would ever make for your vb forum.

I had VbSEO on two of the forum, and both are number one in Search engine results, and all most all pages of forum indexed on google/msn/yahoo. I rerely need them all the time at my forums, do I :)

Performance issues arise when your server is already over taxed or their is a misconfiguration.

In these cases, our support team can often help assist you with additional tweaks to your server. However, these are almost always situations where more server resources were really needed prior to installing vBSEO.

We have many very large and active forums running vBSEO without any issues.
