Hey, so I just purchased VBulletin software to convert one of my forums that's currently running SMF. I've looked into the VBSEO software and it's a good sales pitch....just looking to hear some feedback from anyone whose got first hand experience with the program. The forum I'm thinking of applying it to receives an average of 1200 unique visitors a day and I need to really expand this. Thanks, Solotrip
I use it and I like it a lot. I can't provide stats to show how much more traffic I'm getting but it definitely did increase. I have had it for about a year and a half now. Here's my forum using it - http://www.bemanistyle.com/forum/ http://www.vbseo.com/
keiths, you might want to remove your affiliate link before the mods see it and give you an infraction to the OP, yes it's worth it.. just search "vbseo" here at DP and you'll fine 100's of threads about it and to clear keiths post up.. the sitemap generator is free.... and also Keiths,, I highly suggest fixing your title tag, remove "powered by vb" and you'll get even more SE traffic
Nope. It ain't worth it. There is no proof to suggest that a forum with vbseo will get more traffic than a forum without. DP does not have vBseo and gets more traffic than a bunch of other webmaster forums who have vBseo installed.
I believe it works really well, but only for certain niches. For example, I once helped a client I had with SEO. He had a warez forum with vBSEO and the vBSEO got him many backlinks very fast. His PR went up to 3 in the first update and his forum had 850 members in 2 months, of which 40 to 50 were active. If you have money, try it... @ brotherZ -- I disagree with your point about DP.
