Hi I have a german forum for medical patients to talk about medical and non medical topics. Link: Patientenfragen.net ... wir haben die Antworten (German Version) Link: Patientenfragen.net ... we have the answers (English Version) The forum runs since 2006/05/05 I bought and installed vBSEO on 2007/07/20 including vBSEO Sitemap Plugin This Thread is a long time CASE STUDY. Last update: 2010/02/06 (If you only see old images that don't match the update date please press CTRL + R to force your browser to reset cache!) Important events that may have had impact on my traffic: 2007/07: Installation of vBSEO + vBSEO Sitemap plugin 2007/10: Google PR Update -> PR 3 to PR 5 2008/09: Removed vBulletin Archive and Footer Links to Archive, removed Forum Title from Showthread, Forumdisplay and Memberinfo replaced showpost with permlinks 2009/02: We hade some Server Issues for 5 weeks with slow speeds and sometimes beeing not reachable. Google PR droped from 4 to 3 2009/08: around that time Google PR dropt to 0 (possibly because we are selling direct Links on our Forum) 2010/01: Installed vBEnterpriseTranslator which automaticly translates the forum into English via Google Translator Statistics: Indexing stats (Indexed pages in search engines - Tracking DISCONTINUED!) Traffic stats (organic traffic from search engines) (Y-axis logarithmic scale) Keyword Long Tail: Google Adsense earnings: Here is a graphical representation of my adsense earning. I changed the scale of the Y-achsis to an odd interval and removed the numbers so you can't guess the income, but I think you will get the idea Since Adsense changed payment from USD to EUR I made a new Graph for earnings in EUR starting Januar 2009: I have worked hard on the optimal integration of Google Adsense into my forum and I think that I found the near optimum for use of Adsense on a vBulletin Forum. Feel free to check them out if you need ideas for good Adsense placements on your vBulletin forum. StarBuG I also posted this case study on vBSEO here: Patientenfragen.net - vBSEO Case Study
