I picked this up the other day because I like the letters.

do you think www.vbs.in will ever be worth anything ?

Holding .in domains is expensive. They cost twice as much as .com domains.

I would rather let it expire, if I can't find a suitable use or buyer.

There is currently a thread at NamePro's talking about the fact that all of the 3 letter .IN domains are being registered. If this happens - watch for the value to rise very quickly. I think the value of 3 letter .mobi's doubled overnight after the last one was registered.

 

Reminds me of the tulip mania. Everybody buying because everybody else is buying. .

these are only worth money to indian buyers imo, big players in the USA market with the big money will invest in other TLDS, if their is a business in india with this abreviation they it may be worth something.

 

yup, I seen the post at namepros and thats why I picked this one up.
as for price, it's only 12$ a year, I'll hold on to it for 3 years if I can make mid $xxx for it
