I’m working on a project right now, and I almost made up my mind to go with vB. But there are still a number of questions that I want to clear up. The followings are some of these questions. Q1. Can vB or a vB mod allow members to upload personal audios and videos? (I’ve seen vB forums that have photo galleries, so I’m pretty sure that they can upload photos). Q2. Is it easy to add payment options to vB? Also is it easy to restrict access of a certain member depending on what payment option this member chose? For example, let’s say that there are three membership levels, bronze (free), silver and gold. Bronze cannot send personal messages. Silver can send 5 messages a day. Gold can send as many messages as they want. Etc. etc. etc. Q3. Does vB or a vB mod allow members to add friends, foes, etc.? I’d greatly appreciate if someone can answer these questions.
My late reply... 1) There are many media sharing mods for vb. Photopost is one, but there are others out there that have a lower cost. Check vbulletin.org. 2) Payment manager is built into vb and can switch users to a usergroup based on amount of payment you setup. You can also edit the usergroup to limit the number of PMs and limit access to each usergroup. 3) vb has a buddy system, but nothing to fancy . Best of luck. Mark
