vb mod - prevent new users from posting live links

i'm using vbulletin version 3.6 - anyone know of a mod that i can install to prevent new users from posting live links?

or is there is setting in vbulletin that i can set to prevent all users from posting live links?

 

I believe you can do this through promotions within vB itself. Set regular members so they can not post links, or even BBCODE till they have reached a few posts, then have an automatic promotion set to move them to a different group that can.

 

theres a hack at vBulletin.org that will do that without the hassle of usergroups and promotions. its by Cybernetic
