vB installation.

How easy is it to install?

Is it just like MyBB, phpBB, etc.? All I have to do is upload it via ftp and run the install folder or something?

 

yeah..very easy..also remember to modify the .config file with your MySQl info.

After that just run install.php....

phpbb doesnt even require you to modify the config files..the new phpbb3 i mean..so its differnet..it asks that info real time..while you run the script..

vb still doesnt..

Do I need to license information to install it?

 

ofcourse Vb is paid..i mean licensed...leased is around 70$ per year and owned is one time payment of like 160$ i think...

phpbb and others like smf etc are course free..

 

I know I need a license but do I need the information off of it to install the software or is just having it good enough?

 

just reading the install instructions shud be fine...

 

I want to know as much as possible before wasting my money though.
I guess I'll test it out and just see.

or can take any expert for installion.
