I fell for a survey site once and still get spam emails via it. I must have been mad to fall for the patter. Earned diddly squat but a place on a email idiot list - hate having to learn the hard way...
At least it isn't referral links. I did a survey site for awhile, I had to change my email. It does pay though, but not worth the random phone calls and junk mail. Those sites where my first experience with making money online.
