Hello, please excuse my Newbie-ness but i wanted to know, How many different type of ppc's options are available like Google Adsense ect.. and can a person build a simple Website and place 5 or 10 ect.. different ppc programs on to their site. Also, is there any other type of money making program like PPC, i think i only know about that and PPA ( pay per action)? any others??? Thank you.....
Usually you can't have ads from more than 1 provider on any given page at one time. It is against the TOS of Google Adsense, YPN and most others. You can however have multiple ads by one provider on the page at one time. (eg a vertical one, down the side, a banner across the top etc) or have one set shown randomly. There are lots of different programs about. Google Adsense, YPN (US-ONLY ATM) are the first points of call and usually pay higher, have more relevant ads etc. But there is Bidvertiser, Clicksor, Adbrite and a whole host of others who can be profitable to use. There are some Pay Per Thousand Page Views. But usually they are not very ethical programs, such as popups or porn/sex sites. Although there are some good ones I'm told. For most publishers PPC is where its at. Some specific sites can get higher earnings through affiliate programs, eg if your website is about dvds, having a dvd affiliate who sells dvds will earn you a share of the sale.

I.e., a couple of domains I own 1800sushi.com - ShopShoes.us ect.. i would find out about the affiliate programs and see which one may have a place for shoes or sushi ect...?
