Since it is more natural to have a variety of backlinks from individual websties, online directories, forums, blogs, etc., is there a rule of thumb percentage wise? If you have too many links from forum signatures compared to other sources, for example, does Google take that into consideration and devalue them? Not that they have much value to begin with, but I’m wondering whether they should be carefully balanced and what should be an ideal target.
Hmm, no reply so far. Is it a non issue? Or nobody cares what an ideal balance should be, but the more the better. Just wondering if a particular link building method that becomes too dominant (but still legitimate) would actually hurt SERP.
