All, As the problem I was having with the low eCPM was correcting istelf (it's now back up to the regular eCPM rates that I received before the valueclick and fastclick transition), I'm now noticing another serious problem. My impressions have dropped dramatically. For example, before April 11th of this year, I was receiving anywhere from 90,000 - 110,000 impressions for leaderboards. Then all of a sudden from, april 12-18th, it dropped to an avg of 60,000 impressions. I've checked my statistical logs and the pagehits and page views for my pages were at the same rate as before, when I was receiving 100,000 impressions. The page views and the page hits for these pages that have leaderboards hasn't changed (actually went up in some respects) and now I'm getting inaccuarate impressions. has anyone else experience this problem?? This is a serious issue, I'm now earning around 60% of what I was earning this same time last month! This is absolutely ridiculous. Everytime I call fastclick customer support, all I get is the answering machine.
Have you considered that they just ran out of ads and didn't have any to serve? Did you set up a default? If so, check your default #s. It might have picked up the slack of your "lost" impressions. I know that Valueclick has been having trouble keeping up with all the impressions I'm giving it...
