Hi I have i few domain names that i wanted to know the potential value of. they are australian extention domain names if any one knows what they might be worth (just the domain name itself) i would appriciate as i am not sure weather it would be worth selling them just now or building content for them and take advantage of adsense and affiliate marketing. some of the domain names have hyphens in them which is fantastic for seo and getting better rankings. I understand value wise they might not be worth as much as what they are without hyphens. but i believe the names are pretty good for what people are searching for. any suggestions on what these might be worth would be appreciated. or if any one is interested in them...... download-music.com.au acceptcreditcards.com.au freesoftwaredownload.com.au cell-phone.com.au card-credit.com.au online-shop.com.au
1. .au is not a very common extension. therefore the scope is very restricted 2. what u have are .com.au which even make is more difficult to remember 3. long domains are generally of less value i would say reg-fee for all of them
Thanks for the input guys. I am only a newbee... and since my first post I have also found that i illegal to sell domain names in australia as we dont actually own them or have any rights to them other than have a licence to use them. they can however be transferred. So i guess my main focus will be to build sites on them my self. Thanks once again for everyones input
Isn't that basically the same thing with any domain name? You don't really own them either. Don't pay you're renewal fee & you won't own them anymore.
