hi to all.. i have a question... suppose i have 100 site on same "Domain / Host"...i give back links from these sites to my main site.... I want to ask that will these 100 sites really have the same back link value in the same way as from different "Domain / Host" sites have ... Of having same page rank... Thanks for all in advance for their answer...
Links from different sites, on different ips, will carry far more weight than links from the same domain, ip.
Yup, I tried linking all my blogs (from the same hosting server) when I first began IM and I later learned that the links had little or no values at all in terms of PR juice.
If other websites are hosted on different IP's, you will definitely get good benefit for the main website in terms of search engine rankings and PR. However, content on each website which are pointed towards the main website also make a huge difference and hence the content should also be given some importance.
Don't try this or it may look like spamming. Rather than that, try to linkup with other websites but link with the relevant websites.
If you own 100 domains that have even 1 piece of registration info in common so that they can be tied together (registrant email, registrant phone, registrant address, registrant name, etc.) and they are all hosted on the same IP and you interlink them, they had better be SUPER relevant to one another. What you're talking about is building a link farm which violates Googles Webmaster Guidelines. If someone reports you, you have a high probability of being penalized or possibly even banned. If you own 5, maybe 10 or so sites and get reported, Google will likely not give a crap even if they are NOT relevant. But no single person typically has the time to generate useful content for 100 sites. And if during a manual review of your site because of a spam report Google thinks your sole intent of interlinking those 100 sites is to provide SEO benefit and NOT primarily to benefit your users (regardless of whether you have 1 IP or 100 IPs) then you will be royally screwed. All having multiple IPs does is to make it a little harder to detect your via an automoted method because Google is likely not looking at registrant info of every link on every site normally. But during a manual it would be VERY easy for them to look at registrant info and find the smoking gun. If your plans are to build a link farm I would HIGHLY suggest you be very careful about how you go about doing so OR you should be prepared for all of your sites to be rendered worthless at a moments notice should you be caught (i.e. have the sites buried by penalties deep in the SERPs or even worse... kicked out of the Google index by a ban).
Yea, if you are on shared hosting and they all sit on the same C-CLASS IP you are doomed as well....canonical touched everything else you should worry about...there are ways around all this, but then your digging into the blackhat seo world....not a good place to be if you care about your sites
