I just started a mesothelioma website at mesotheliomastraight.net
It has been up for a lil more than 2 weeks and has generated 62 dollars so far. How much could I get for that if I were to sell? Has no PR yet but will at the next update.

Promotion. Traffic is mostly USA based.

"promotion"? SEO promotion? Word of mouth? AdWords?

normally a site is worth 12x monthly revenue.

so at $120/mo, roughly worth $1500

Since the site is new (2weeks), I dont think you'll get 10x or better but if the traffic and revenue remains consistent then you can definitely sell it for more than 12x. I would say work on the site and try to maintain, improve the traffic and revenue.

Wow, 12x, it's worth? That sounds like too much? I thought it was more around 6 months of it's value. So if you make $120 a month at 6 months it would be worth = $720. Doesn't that sound more reasonable?

It all depends on age. A 10 year old site making $1000 a month may sell for $20,000 - as it has a long history of consistant earnings.

Your site will not sell for 20 months revenue as it doesnt have a good history - so may only sell for 3 or 4 months revenue.

I have done promotion through signatures and social bookmarking. I plan on getting it up to 5-7 dollars a day average. And I was told I could sell for 12X its monthly income but I was told to wait 3 months to try that. Is that true?

Like I said, nobody wants to pay 12 months revenue for a 12 day old site. Keeping the site will give it history of revenue and traffic which is what buyers look for.

they also may not want to pay as much for a site they constantly have to drive traffic to versus one that is older and ranks well naturally

its very hard to value a site on the bases of two weeks revenue, give it at least a few months, and if the revenue is steady then you will probably be able to sell for about $1000

2 weeks is not enough. Google, as a rule, bans after 2 months or first $100
How can you prove that 60$ does not come from selfclicks?
You need a years long history to sell.

Alrighty cool. Thanks all. I made 17 yesterday. And no none are self clicks. My ctr is actually fairly low. A about 3.5 or so. Just an estimated figure.

as your site is just 2 weeks and if you try to sell buyers may think these revenue is self made clicks

so you better wait 1-2 months

Couldn't I just show the impressions and proof of traffic to prove otherwise? I mean it would not be possible for me to get so many impressions a day to keep the ctr low if I was clicking enough to make as much as I am.
