Hi people, i have just got a small point to discuss here as my site Funspot Trampolines has got a good number of customer reviews but they are being displayed to the user with the help of ajax & i know google is not very comfortable in reading ajax. I am also aware that google likes fresh content, so I am thinking of posting a couple or three changing reviews preloaded on the page but the point is that will this review display section at all benefit my site ranking, or in any other terms getting your customer reviews crawled by google has any merit.
Can you post a link to the website? You're new so you can't post a live link, but post just yourwebsite.com so we can take a look.
As far as getting results from local searches, you need to get your reviews on yelp or Google places. That is where it really counts in the eyes of Google and the eyes of your customers. I mean I can add ten thousand reviews on my own site, but they are all me. Reviews on Yelp and Google Places are harder to fake. As far as the SEO value of reviews on your site, nothing as far as reviews, they could be decent if they have good keywords. So they aren't useless.
