Value of PR-8 link??

yeah, it will boost your serp results but you must take care the outgoing link number. if there are so many outgoing link, its effect will be minimum

 

value of pr 8 is very important as if you buy a link of pr 5 website with inner pages pr 4, 3 only and even if pages indexed in google are more than 1,00,000 its monthly link cost may be around 30-35 dollar but one pr 8 homepage link cost will be around 70-80 dollar or more.
so you can see the importance.

Links from high PR are definitely good for your pr. But not necessarily useful for short term traffics.

 

someone here was right, if google sees the link is paid won't give it any attention. thing tested by me, with a PR 8 which I bought for lifetime on a really really strong site. only that, in the box where the links are writes something like "buy a link here for lifetime. it's just $30. click here" obvious thing for google to consider it a paid link and not look at it. but.. after all.. it's good for traffic so i'm not sorry for the $30 I've spent.

 

A strong PR link related to your niche will improve your PR and rankings.
I have a PR 7 site and yes it passes juice to other sites.
A PR7 link can give you PR5.

I think what a lot of you aren't considering, is that higher PR inevitably can help you in the SERPs and with traffic, especially if you're exchanging links with other sites. If I pay for a few high PR links and get a PR boost from it, I will now have more sites willing to exchange links with me, and I will be able to exchange links with higher PR sites who probably wouldn't have considered exchanging links with me if I was say a PR2. More links from other higher PR sites most likely will help boost me up in the SERPs and send some more traffic my way from these other more powerful sites.

 

Agree with you, they don't even bother to answer you if you have a small PR. Also, if you get a good PR, you can sell links too.

One of the main reasons I'm working to get a pr6 is just so I can even be considered by some of these other sites for a link exchange.
if your under 5/6 they dont care at all.
