Most of the great .com, .net's, .org etc., names are all gone. Normally, country specific domains are overlooked as their value may not be deemed as high...but I saw a .in domain ranked in the top 10 list of a 135 million keyword search on Google. So my question is, do .in domains have any value or any other country specific domain? Another point - I noticed on Go Daddy, they only stock specific country domains as well as Global TLD's...why? (no .co.uk's either) Is there a chart somewhere to show the "value" of non global tld domains? Thanks guys
I think ccTLD has its own advantage when using locally.Although global TLD are the most popular, many people still prefer to use ccTLd in their country or local place.Whether a domain is easy to remember plays an important part in the domain's value.
tlds are nothing to do with ranking. but keywords helps in ranking quickly so keywords with cctlds are a good choice if gtlds are taken
I think that a quality website, product or service can be hosted on any kind of domain name, no matter what kind of market the owner targets. So hunting for quality domains worths the time.
Thanks guys. I see you deal with domains, do you have any comment as to why godaddy only stock certain country tlds (is to do with value?). Is there a value chart someplace to compare as it's known that .com's rank #1st, .org's and .net's #2nd and all others rank behind....
