Value of Multiple Links Same Domain then Same Page

I am just curious on what you think. Once you already have one backlink on a domain, does the value of a second backlink on the same domain get a lesser value because it's the second one on the domain? Is there any research on this?

I have the same question for the value of a second backlink on the same exact page. What do you think?

If I'm not wrong Google will take into consideration only the first link in that case (so you second link and its anchor text on that exact page won't matter).
Wait for someone to confirm that though :)

I think if there are links on different pages in the same domain, it depends on the PR of each page as to which one is more valuable. Supposedly, if two links were on the same page, assuming they were dofollow, the anchor text for the first one would outweigh the second one. So you couldn't build two different anchor texts to the same URL on the same page.

Only one link from the same domain is considered
Though there are confusing indications from google on this, during my research i have found certain sites using questionable methods like, creating subdomains and linking to same site from all the sub domains had given results, though goole do not agree to this and many SEO's have given the same theory, but i doubt, i still see people gaining rankings, of course, along with other linking methods

One link from the same domain on a page after that It seems there may not be as much power from extra links. I think it may also depend on the placement of the links. Are they in the content a footer or a menu. Links in with content seems to hold the most value.

It is like one link on a PR5 page will see more juice than 50 links on the same page.
