Value of .info domains?

Hey guys, whats the current status/value of dot info domains?

Generic/One words, or maybe 2-3 keyword .infos

Depends on the keywords. Travel.info sold for $116K this year.

Depends on the word. Sex.info is worth over $200k

 

depends upon the fancy of the buyer, what is he / she looking for, and what is available that serves their purpose.

 

It depends on the domain as the others in the thread have already stated. Names like travel and sex will obviously sell for a higher rate, but most decent words should easily make a profit for you, as they will be sold above reg fee..

 

Generic one word .info could go for $x,xxx - $xx,xxx.

search them... maybe after few days of non-stop searching you'll find good domains that aren't registered on .info

 

No, they have been long gone; you can only get them in the secondary market.

 

There are some MAJOR players that have started buying up EVERY single word domain when a new tld gets released. Good luck though.

 

Yea, sex.com is worth over 12 MILLION! lol

 

It would probably sell for around $30 million or so in today's market if it was for sale

 

If i was buying a .info domain, I'd try to make the site about learning about the subject. For example: boatsplus.info I'd make a site that teaches you about various boats
