Value of DMOZ in a domain

    I have seen some people selling domains with a DMOZ listing for $30 and people seem to snap them up pretty quick.

    What I'm wondering is, how much value does DMOZ have, does it still have to be a good domain name and in a good category to be worth anything?

    I would say it needs to be in a good category that many people use the DMOZ listings for on their sites, thus giving them a bunch of backlinks.
