value of .com to a .net holder

Picked up a portfolio of around 10 names. Some OK/good, some rubbish

Amongst the OK/good batch was a brandable marketing name. I have no wish to develop it. I have tracked down the owner of the .net who has offered me $50 for it.

It isn't a killer domain and has hypen in it but is it worth more than $50?

It probably is to him but not to me - suggestions?

Depends on the name, sharpshooter :)

Without the name, no one can say whether it is worth $1 or $50 or $100.

If you are happy with $50, sell it to him.

$49 is not a bad price if the letters were not complete crap.

Still even ridiculous LLLL.com's go for a minimum for $40, so you might have a winner on your hands.

Probably didn't want any possible competition after being so long in the business with that name.
