Value Of A Link

    Hey I was recently using dnscoop to value a site I was looking to buy.
    On the page I saw a TextLinkAds link value report saying the

    "The estimated value of a single link on www.thedomain.com is: $6 /month "

    Now can anybody explain how this link value works not wrt to TLA but in general. How do webmasters who buy or sell links on their site set a price to a backlink. Some list of factors to consider this would be great

    Some factors are the age of the domain name, it's alexa (traffic) rank, it's google page rank, etc.

    However, I do not recommend buying or selling dofollow links without careful thought. Paid Links: Good or Bad?
