i got a pr4 backlink from answer.com How to achieve 1.add your link in wikipedia articles (don't spam).Since the links in wiki are 'no follow', you cannot expect link juice but decent traffic. 2.Most of wiki sites like answer.com take content from wikipedia periodically alongwith your links too.The links in answer.com are 'dofollow' and most of the pages are high ranked. proof check Digital Television & Radio Technology Discussion Forum link http://www.answers.com/topic/digital-radio
what you say seems to be true,But it is very difficult to get links on wiki as editors do n't allow it..

I've had a few sites links on Wiki, hadn't reven considered the likes of answers.com picking them up. Will just have to go and have a look to check now
I know as a fact that this is true - that's how I got a few answer.com links...unfortunately after my links were taken off of Wikipedia after they got strict, I lost all of those other links. It's basically near impossible to get your link on Wikipedia in the present day.. even if your pages have info that's better than what Wikipedia has.
I go for PR 5 and up backlinks...Most of my backlinks are PR 6 & 7. Next update my blog such be PR 5.
Are answers.com refreshed at any time? I've recently got 3 links from Wikipedia but they don't show up on answers.com pages yet. Also, how long before wiki editors review amended pages? My links are all relevant and point to original content. They were added at the same time as other changes were made to a few selected pages.
