Hello. I have a question and Im a little confused about weight. I have the ads installed in a forum... have around 13k of weight. 3 days ago I started to see people having changes in their backlinks...Google stuff... and weight changes.

If the Google factor has to do with it I should have more weight than before... thats my doubt... anyway I added another ad, Im displaying another ad... weight is the same.

I also used the recalculate weight link in the past 2 days and nothing changed? should I wait? is there something wrong? Am I wrong? :D

    thanks for the help.

Writing an easier-to-read post would be handy for starters... Or is it just me having to read this 3 times and still not get it exactly?

If Google now has more pages indexed AND you are displaying more ads AND you validate then yes, your weight should have increased compared to the earlier situation.

if you already were showing 5 ads per page, going to 6 or more would not increase weight.

Also, the number of pages is based on the Google API - and that number is different than what google.com returns. It also seems to update slower. If the Google API did not have an increase in your number of pages, your weight would not increase.

Yes there is a cap. Besides that, Google algo tweaks can ditch hundreds of your forum pages overnight.

What is your weight and what is the base URL?
