validation

    Hi,

I signed up for the adnetwork with my site www.knowledge-finder.com. The autovalidation didn't work.

I have placed the ad code in a php file named ad_network.php as requested. and I use an Iframe to show that file in my pages (400+).

Can somebody help me to get my site validated so that the system starts working?

    Thanks,

    Peter

The ad network does not support frames, it would need to be on the page itself. Your server supports PHP (version 4.3.5 is installed), so you can do it with the PHP method (you don't need to have PHP extensions in order to do it).

That is a problem. My pages may seem like normal html pages, but they´re actually dynamically generated by the CMS (Content Management System). The result is that the server does not execute server side scripts. That is why I used the iframe because php in a page that exists next to the CMS does get executed.

Don't you guys have a java script version of the ad network?

    Thanks,

    Peter

No, sorry... the only option would be to embed it in the source of the page. I would imagine your CMS could do it, but I don't know anything about it, so I'm not able to help there.

That is too bad. I wish my CMS could handle php that I put in as content, but it doesn't. It does lots of things very good, but php doesn't get executed.

Actually, if you look at my pages, you will see that the php in the iframe does get executed normally. All that needs to be done is that my site needs to be validated.

Can't you manually validate my site so that the system starts? I am pretty sure that if the ad network thinks my site is validated, it will work perfectly fine.

    Thanks,

    Peter

Ok I got it to work,. why it won't validate now?

Just look at www.knowledge-finder.com the ads show up at the bottom of each page now. If it could be validated now I would be a very happy chap.

You aren't using the server-side caching system.

Well,.. I am still using an iframe,.. I made a mistake with the instructions. I corrected the mistake and it works. Now I would like to have the site validated so that my own ads also start showing.

    Thanks,

    Peter

hmm,.. that´s too bad. You should do something about that. Now I will have to take my 400+ (soon to be 1000+) page website out of the loop.

    to Knowledge:
I am new here, and may not know all the details. However, as far as I understand, the validation process is quite simple: read the page and look for the signature there. If you managed to place the ad code to iframe, you can submit the iframe URL to validation - and it should work.
