I used to have 81,999 weight (or whatever the max was) but now I have like 4500 weight? And when I try validating my site over and over to get my normal weight back, it says it's not on the /store/ of my directory, which I don't want it to be cause it doesn't work and I dont need it to be. What's going on?
how do i do that? or do you mean a regular search to find indexed pages? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:www.must-have-software.net Shows about 12k, down from 30k
There are a lot of pages with no title or description. These pages are not counted when using the api for indexed pages.
Atleast right now, the API shows 4,800 indexed pages. With a PR of 6, that should definitely put you around 80,000. "says it's not on the /store/ of my directory, which I don't want it to be cause it doesn't work and I dont need it to be. " What do you mean by you 'don't need it to be'? My understanding is that the ads must appear on all pages that are in Google's cache. If /store/ is in Google, than you have to have ads on it. Maaybe I'm confused by what you mean with that.
I mean that I dont need the ads on there because I already have topped out on my weight and if I do have the ad network on those page it'll just be loosing me PR. I can't get them to work on there anyway... How come my google indexed pages dont show up with titles and descriptions (they used to, and some still do)
You don't have a choice on where you want to put ads and where you don't want to. If the directory is under your base ad-serving directory, you MUST have ads on all pages. Shawn doesn't have the resources to crawl every page of everyone's sites, so this rule is in place to make calculating the number of ads shown reliable.
But there is no way to put adds on the pages of the /store/, it won't work, we've tried a lot. Before Sean made updates this worked fine and gave me my right weight etc...
