Validation Assistance for www.webuyhomes.com.au/related/directory

    Hi,

We are brand new to the network. We have added a few adds in the control panel thingy. Have also uploaded the PHP and TXT (and set to 666) files to our /related sub folder which runs the Link Management Assistant tool. /directory is a dynamic folder that works with the LMA tool.

We did not add the PHP code to the header and footer (this "looked" optional) and I was not sure what it does, as I am not really a coder.

Do I need to do anything now, or simply wait for the magic to happen after our site is validated?

Any help, assistance or advise would be great at this point.

P.S. Also made a donated some money to this worthy cause :)

    Cheers - Dallas

    Hi Shawn,

You will have to excuse my lack of technical know how. All I have done is uploaded the 2 files into /related/ folder on this site and made my adds in the Digital Point login area. Perhaps I have missed a step somewhere. Do I also need to copy come code into the main LMA pages in the /related/ folder?

    Hi Shawn,

I think I worked it out. I created a custom include file and the ads seem to be displaying correctly on our site now.

Can you confirm all looks okay?

    Cheers - Dallas

    Hi Guys,

I think I have done everything right now. Ads display on our site under the /related/ directory.

    We are getting this message:

Site failed automatic validation as of 2006-04-20 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, make a request in the forum for assistance).

Any help that could be give would be great.

    Cheers - Dallas

    Hi Guys,

Gee wiz - what do you know. I sorted it out. In my setup, I simply had my base site URL, but when I added /related/directory/ (which is where I serve my ads, it validated me). Hope this helps anyone else having issues.

Looking forward to seeing this system working.

    Cheers - Dallas

    Hi,

I can see we have been actively displaying ads on our site now. When I look at the stats for our ads showing on the network, we see no impressions at all. Can some advise if we are doing something wrong or how we may resolve this please? Cheers.

    Hi,

We have 6 text ads. One is 37.5% and the rest are 12.5%. When we click on the stats, all we see it a graph with nothing in it... Is this enough info to go on?

    Thanks - DK

    Hi Guys,

Trying not to be a genuine pain in the behind, but I am keen to see why my site is not displaying on the network, when we are displaying ads on our site from the network? Have now made the two main ads be 44.1% weighted, but it seems to make no change (0 impressions). Look forward to hearing back from someone who could help...

    Cheers - DJK

Hi, your ads are shown only in the directory. The url of the directory is PR0 and there are only 13 pages indexed by google if you search for site:http://www.webuyhomes.com.au/related/directory
That means that your weight is zero or close to zero. In order to get some weight and to start seeing impressions for your ads your directory's PR need to increase and get significantly more pages indexed by google

    Hope that helps.

    Cool,

This is all I needed to know. All the sub pages under /directory are PR3's but I will get them indexed too, and add lots more sites that have higher PRs.
