Validating all the pages...it's hard

    Greetings
I've displayed coop ads on my home page + search pages.
When I go to my control panel it sometimes warn me that certain page (I've not placed ads on) couldn't be validated. These pages are not invovled into "My Pool Of Advertisements" that is I only use my home page as the url of backlinks for coop ad.
Should I place the ads on *all* the pages of my site? This is hard to do!
I actually show 5 on home page + 3 * 2 search pages (11 total ads on my site) having 5100 as weight.
    Please enlighten me on this.
What if I add these pages to the robots.txt ? Google shouldn't see them and Coop Ad shouldn't check if there are ads on...am I wrong?

    Thanks in advance

You would need to display ads on every page of the site to get validated.

It doesn't validate individual pages. Instead it uses how many Google says you have (those that are indexed) and then to due the validation it picks a random page.

This way if you have ads on only some of your pages, sooner or later it won't validate.

    Yes,

[Pages] - [Pages appearing in the robots.txt] ~= [Page Google knows abt your site]

[Page you should place the ads on]=[Page Google knows abt your site]

I think using robots.txt for excluding pages is helpful not to have to add the code on all the (dozens or even hundreds ) pages of your site.

So it is not just *all* the pages but all the pages Google is aware of.
Correct me if I am wrong.

What's the point in excluding some of your pages, just so you don't have to run Coop ads on them?

It sounds to me like you are cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The problem is that I have many pages. It seems silly to me to put ads even on login pages. It is against good taste at least...and taste comes first than money making.
