Validated but no weight?

How long does it usually take to assign weight? I just set up the coop and when I went to validate got this message:

Ads appear to be live on your site (as of 2005-02-22).

However, my weight is still 0. Where do I go to update my weight? I'm not indexed by Google so is that why my weight is 0?

Yes. Be patient and for now, feel happy you are displaying ads for others. :)
And get a link on a page that is indexed by Google so that your new page/domain can be indexed quicker. :D

I've posted in several forums with a link to my site in my sig. I probably have about 10 of these links out on forums. Do you think this is enough to get indexed or should I keep on posting at different places? The site is less than a week old so far.

Your weight will stay at 0 until Google indexes your site.

This will be fine to get indexed, but the more links you have incoming to your domain the better. Always. With stipulations of course, but natural link building is expected. I'd shoot for some more quality links ... ie. not from forum sigs. Try getting some from other sites that are in your same theme, or are complimentary to your new sites theme. ie. link from product review site, if you sell a product or types of products they review.

You will get indexed soon for sure though. It doesn't mean you'll get all your pages indexed ASAP, but it will get the ball rolling. Expect your weight to be low for a while.
