Pls note that Google is currently doing their PR updates. As such you may see the domain's PR change (or even fluctuate) as Google completes their process.
Dropped domains with valid PR may lose their PR. This is because the dropped domain was still unregistered when Google began their updates.
When Google sees that the dropped domain has no content/website, it may un-index the domain from its search results pages.
No need to worry because once the domain is re-registered again and either parked or have a website to it's name, Google will eventually find the domain again and re-index it.
As long as all the backlinks are intact, the domain should regain it's PR.
I have had many domains that had gone through this. Registered as a dropped domain with PR. An unexpected Google PR update wipes out the PR 'temporarily' but PR is regained once the domain is indexed in Google again.
I have owned and held on to some of this types of domains for years and they're still PR3, PR4, PR5 like when I first registered them. If you need proof, PM me and I can show you the exact domains I am talking about.
