Can some please explain why expired Drivers License, Passport etc. are not accepted or considered as valid ID?:confused:

They are not up to date. I see your reasoning, but you only need to update once every 4 years... thats not too demanding.

Because if they were accepted, there would be little if any incentive to get a new one periodically.

I wonder why expired Drivers License or Passport are not valid ID when they are already expired. Your picture and signature is still in the card, why authenticated birth certificate is considered as valid ID it can't even identify if it's really yours since there's no picture and signature in it?

If they have expired, they have no value as ID Proof.

They are not considered valid ID because they are not validated anymore. ID's are very important try to get a renewal of them they have many used in our daily life.

HUH? What's strange about that. Yeah I know that expired is not valid. But you will only use it as Identification. Even though it expired your identity will not change, renewing it will not change your identity either. Hope you get the point. :(
