Quality wise I would go with Toshiba. Only thing is, Sony Vaio laptops look so much better. I absolutely hate how the Toshiba logo and laptop looks like, but I'll admit that they are usually much more durable.
I will tell you I have a Toshiba laptop from Office Depot and got 6 months no interest if paid in full for $460 4 gigs memory and I really like it. The sony will most likely cost more and may or may not have better quality I can't say. Also my toshiba didnt come with a restore disk. Shop around if you want I found better deals at best buy too but that was after my purchase . Laptops for some crazy reason start only at $300 plus sales tax these days.
Dear i will prefer for the toshiba because it is the one and only one in quality and look and i like this brand very so i will advice you to go for toshiba. There are so many new brands like Toshiba Qosmio F750,Toshiba Satellite C660-I5010 etc which are heart touching.
Defiantly Toshiba, Vaio seems kind of like the cheap budget option for a small portable laptop. You'll get more from Toshiba
depend on what you need? if you want some fast and high tech notebook choose sony vaio but the latest notebook from Toshiba, A Toshiba Qosmio it have a high end spec so if you want to play a High Res Game it would be fine
I recommend you to buy Sony Viao than toshiba as Sony Vaio has great working model, good features, good design, long working hours and the most great is its battery is very good
Not sure if Sony Viao is best, but my Toshiba's touch pad went out after 1.5 year. When typing in an excel spreadsheat, only touching the case not the touch pad, then mouse would click you in a random cell. Or if typing anywhere you could get random click and whatever you were typing doesn't show up. Frustrating and out of warranty.
