I highly doubt he even believed in a god, more or less practiced a religion.
How do you plan on treating someone if you don't know all the influences in their life? What's the point of going to a psychologist if they're not interested in what makes you tick? What do you think made this guy so upset at the alledged immorality of others that he went on a killing spree?

How can you just toss out religion when trying to figure out what makes someone tick? If someone professing to be a Christian did something like this I'd want to know what church they went to and what the pastor was telling people. I'd want to know where they got this idea that the immorality of others is grounds for killing them. Terrorists do not primarily target people who personally wronged them. They target "sinners." It's a completely different mindset. If you want to correct someone's thinking you have to know why they're thinking what they're thinking. Where did he get the idea that it was his job to punish "sinners?" There is a huge difference between Columbine where the kids shot other kids out of revenge for mistreatment and VA where the motive was perceived immorality. Nobody laid a hand on this kid. He wasn't bullied. People tried to be nice to him. If I were to blame a movie for this, I'd blame Dogma.
Because there's no proof he is a certain religion, and he probably put it in his letter as a tool - and I haven't even seen any of this confirmed. This is all useless speculation. For awhile I had "Positive Muslim News" in my sig. Thank you, come again. Ablaye and Astire are our friendly neighborhood Jew haters. On topic, all I posted was facts and I've been examing the facts. Maybe my conclusions are wrong but I havn't asserted any definite conclusions. Paul Harvey made a comment that in the shooter's writtings he was bitching about religion. Maybe he was an atheist. I don't know what was exactly said about religion that he didn't like. There's little else to be said until all the documents are released in their entirety. It seems odd that he'd justify his rampage by claiming the students were all immoral but yet complains about religion.
