Buying VA needed to do the same copy/paste task - MIN 40 hours per week

Discussion in 'Services' started by Matthew Sayle, Nov 27, 2015.

Looking for a VA to complete the same boring and monotonous task for 8 hours per day.

If you would like to work more, no problem!

However, it must be at least 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Please speak good English and have common sense.

Must be able to start immediately and work with little to no supervision.

Please do not trust this client as he is a total scammer.... He will take up work and won't pay. He just gives excuses. Here is a screenshot of part of the conversation - http://pasteboard.co/2D2QNuhU.png

He worked for 1 - 2 hours and sent me an invoice for 46 hours.

You guys decide who the scammer is.

I offered to pay him the amount actually owed, but haven't gotten his Paypal email yet.

What do you need a conversation for?

I can tell you right now, you agreed to work for 40 hours and I agreed to pay you for 40 hours.

However, you did NOT work for 40 hours. You worked for 1 - 2 hours.

Here is the full conversation of Skype where he clearly mentioned that he will be paying $5/hour (for 40 hours). And if you go through the whole conversation you will come to know how busy he is and he doesn't have the time to reply to his employees, just promises to take away work from people.

One of the requirements was being able to work unsupervised.

Did you work for 46 hours?

I am seeing about 1.5 hours of work, MAX.

Sent you the email now, and will update the screenshot here.

The screenshot says that most of your visitors are form Digital Forum, so that's an indirect way to blacklist me on the forum. Pretty cleaver idea.

If you think that the work I sent you is just of 1 hour, then I am sad that you need to learn the calculations again.

You copied and pasted 3,000 keywords in batches of 20.

    so, 3,000 / 20 = 150 batches

Each batch takes 10 seconds to copy from one screen and paste to another.

    So - 150 * 10 = 1,500 seconds / 60 seconds in a minute = 25 minutes.

I doubled that because you had to hit the space bar once or twice to break the domain into keywords.

    So 25 minutes * 2 = 50 minutes.

I rounded this up to an hour for good measure.

Now, I undersrand not everyone is as fast as me... so I would have settled on 5 hours, but you started bashing me after I refused to pay for 46 hours, instead of negotiating.

This is MY side of the story.

Now, please tell me how you came up with 46 hours of work.

    I am waiting...

There were 30 batch of files sent to me of which I have completed 6 batch. The total files are as follows:

    BATCH 1 - 35 FILES
    BATCH 2 - 15 FILES
    BATCH 3 - 15 FILES
    BATCH 4 - 13 FILES
    BATCH 5 - 13 FILES
    BATCH 6 - 13 FILES

To get into more precise the total keywords are approximately 6000 (as I said earlier you need to learn your calculations again). The file I sent you is still to be run on Moz and the files I have already run are listed in Moz already.

And if you think that just a keystroke makes it all then you shouldn't have promised things earlier while assigning the job - no targets, no worries. I have that conversation already on Skype.

He already blacklisted me on Skype and deleted the messages of our conversation - he is a total scammers.
