Why hasnt the V7n website posted a central page with all the contest rules and such. I feel like i am going at this competition a bit blind. Someone tell me if my site is breaking any of the contest rules - if there are any.

You should remove the link to v7n.com and replace it with the text "We support v7n.com"

I have put up a blog at http://v7ndotcomelursrebmem.blogspot.com/. WHile this is not a contest page I have linked to Alek's Charity page from it. The main point of it is to keep track of the contest and where things are with it. If you see something interesting please post a comment and I will update it. I plan to keep up with it over the 4 months with a post every other day or so on whats changed.

 

Oh and Dave is right. Placing that text on your page and then linking to Matt would qualify you for both contests.

 

You are over-complicating this. The rules are simple, whoever is in the top 5 in 4 months, will win as long as there is some sort of reference to v7n on that page.

 

www.v7ndotcom-elursrebmem-contest.com is now live and we are pleased to say any prize money will be donated directly to Oxfam.

There are a few charity sites in the contest and I hope that we can all work to support all of them.

Is anyone getting google traffic for the phrase? I have gotten about 50 hits today butcan't find any listings on any data center.

Oh, that is the geotargeting issue. From what I've heard, only in the US you will see the results. Hold on, checking yours.
