My site has moved up to #12 on that DC - gosh, sure be nice if whatever penalty whacked it is wearing off ... so hopefully I can give the Swedes some competition since they are dominating over there.

Anybody out there test-driving the new Google User Interface? You can do this by setting a cookie.

My guess is this might be pulling data from a "newer data center" ... and I have a report from a supporter than this shuffles up the rankings a bit ...

Correction: This appears to be due to Personalized Search being turned on which changes the rankings quite a bit ... may be something new with Big Daddy (?)

 

Ho-Ho-Ho ... V7ndotcom Elursrebmem for Celiac Charity appears to be making a big move on various data centers - Swedes (Jim & Marcus) are still dominating, but I might be able to give 'em a run for the money! ;-)

 

Great Alek, I challenge everyone with some decent pr (especially those pr 7+) to donate a link to help the celiac charity until the end of the contest. I believe a dozen or so high quality high pr links could secure the #1 spot. I've got my sitewides on all my sites worth anything pointed that way but wish I had the force in terms of linkage and pr some of you do. Boy it would be awesome if we could win this for a good cause.

You've a couple of links from the googlepages site (PR6 - ranking 10 or 11 last check), and will see the odd backlink or 2 from up and coming Google News stories, all of which should help a little.
