BTW, noted blogger Robert Scoble just endorsed Steve Hargrove in the V-E contest - interesting, especially because Steve (aka digidogstudies) has been one of the more controversial contestents IMHO ... but hats off to him for scoring a decent link.

I am glad to see John Loch´s scorecard site rank so high.
This and the charity site is the best linkbait without a doubt in this contest.
Do you think there will be any more linkbaits of this caliber or is it to late now.

 

It's perfect, contest imitating life. You have your advantage, he gets his. better than having some boring contest where the person buying the most links wins.

The leaders are also some of the best "targets" out there too ... looks fairly certain someone GoogleBowled/Black-hatted my charity site since (based on a couple dozen data center average), I was (basically) in the top 3 for the last couple of weeks, but have now dropped 5-6 spots in the last couple of days despite continueing to garner support/links. I'll have to poke around a bit and see if I can track down what/who did this ... s*it happens! :-(

 

I think you'll find it's just bounce. You'll no doubt return to the top three soon enough.

Maybe signs that G is stabilizing it's results for this term - who knows

Linkbaits of this caliber..

I've only just started. I've had a little something in the works now for a week or two. The revenue sharing (which is changing tack a little) is planned for release on March 3 to coincide with the conclusion of redscowl.

Then about a week after that - I'm going to take a leaf out of John Scotts book. Controversy. And quite frankly, I'm having so much fun with this angle I'm looking forward to it.

If it pans out, V7Ndotcom Elursrebmem will likely enter the headlines ("so to speak")

I think what we are seeing on Big Daddy is just freshness. It looks like new pages, just added in BD, get a bonus. Meanwhile other pages have not got a refresh for more than 20 days.
Google is probably too busy setting up big daddy to refresh its cache as often as it did. It will probably not last. For now I would not worry about the results on big daddy.
