    I am sure he wont sell it.. He is doing this to just gain some publicity for his forum

    about 2 months back seoblackhat was on for sale in sitepoint but the guy never sold it

    How is it a scam? There are huge debates about it. It basically comes down to whether keywords in a URL are necessary or not. Calling it a scam is crap, total crap. If you paid and they never sent you the product, calling it a scam would then be acceptable.

    But its an unstainable business model, he knows directory submissions are going down the toilet. I'd snap someones hand off if I had a directory based business and they offered me over a years revenue.

    Otherwise who as an individual would have a $500k surplus? Other than a major company vs an individual?

    It's all a matter of sales than. No indivudial would have $500k worth of assests to pay for such a forum. Look for more to a business than an individual I would say, Unless there is no business offering than right?

    Than why is John advetising to the public vs an individual. Is there really any interest from a major corporation? Realistically there is no individulal who can pay $500k.

    It doesn't make $40.000 a month. It used to in the past, and possible could again earn $40.000 a month. I would say not in a million years especially if you analyse where those earnings come from.

    Normally for such a big deal, there are those deal brokers that you can approach that will source for clients for you rather than having to sell it yourself.
