Normally for high end sites, they won't be selling in public, some venture funds or some agents may approach DP and sort things out.
$500.000 is a lot of money, but for someone that can manage the site correctly it should be possible to return that money within a two year time frame. Might be hard to find a buyer though...

true, i too have v7n a/c, but forum is not that active. Sale figure really is nice....that's quite a lot of money
The number of members and posts looks impressive. In Internet, if you are to a certain size your price increase exponentially, as a lot of things can be done with that traffic and that number of eye balls. For me I can only sit back and observe the actions. But really hope DP will buy it, I will think it will be sorta fun suddenly finding the forum increase drastically in size
A lot is all that I can say. AFAIK, your reputation power is 1/10th of your normal in GC. Not too sure, but it is something like that.

$400,000 is alot for a website being sold on sitepoint. The highest I have heard of on sitepoint was $365,000! I dont think it will be sold on sitepoint, might have to look to private fund groups etc
