Topic says it all, got an email this morning asking for a price. Need to know what to tell them. Any advice appreciated.
For a domain like this, it's worth what a buyer is willing to pay. It's a brand name, not a keyword one. There's no existing site, so they're paying for a name. If it's a legit offer, it's worth taking, if you're not getting lots of offers coming in every week.
This domain name is not really that much worth as a keyword so you can name any price and ask for reaction. Personally I would say that price is $500 and would look for response.
Nice, easily branded domain name. Especially for an Uzbek designer. It has history going back over 11 years so that's good. There are a few other Uzdesign.TLD with sites on them (.ru, .com.br, .co.jp) and also uz-design.com is in use, so there maybe some demand for it. Just be careful of appraisal scams. If they say they need you to get it appraised by a "professorial" appraisal company, its a scam. They don't want the domain, they just want money for the appraisal. Cheers James
Wow! the three replies above complement each other to give you a full picture of the scenario. I will say let them offer their price first, and then negotiate. But if they offer too high at the first time, it is most probably a scam attempt, so control greed and and be careful. two most popular kind of scams are: 1. Domain appraisal scam as stated above. 2. Paypal refund or credit card chargeback scam.
