    Hello,
i have changed the encoding of my site from windows-1253 to UTF-8, and google start removing pages from the local search (14.000 global, 500 local).
Is there any way to fix it?

I've never seen a site encoded in windows-1253
Was there any specific reasons why you encoded it this way?

Changing it top UTF-8 could change your result it would make your site more world friendly. This really doesn't help if your target is local though...

    windows-1253 is greek windows encoding.

I changed the encoding because of AdSense, only with utf-8 shows ads and not psa.

maybe meta tag language will help ?
